We are pleased to announce that our 20th Annual Golf Day will be held on Friday 2nd August 2024 at CLEETHORPES GOLF CLUB

AM-AM CHARITY GOLF COMPETITION TEE OFF 11am – 2.30pm

IN AID OF LOCAL CHARITIES & OTHER LOCAL GOOD CAUSES

4 Ball Stableford

Handicap Limit per WHS rules 28 men / 40 ladies

Major Team Prizes and nearest the pin

Entry Fee £35 per person and £25 for Cleethorpes Member

Bacon or Sausage Bun on arrival and delicious Fish & Chips included after your game

  • Charity Event in aid of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance (Registered Charity 1017501)
  • Sunday 2nd July 2023 at the Meridian Park, Cleethorpes – 12.30pm
  • Great Summertime Fun
  • Fantastic team building opportunity.
  • Your chance to have fun and help your local community at the same time.
  • All you need to do is get a Team of 10 people together and then make up a unique Team Name.
  • Why not have a T-shirt with your team name on it for all team members – an excellent way to promote your company or organisation.
  • FREE Parking for all cars inside the arena!
  • FREE entry for spectators, families and friends.
  • Excellent refreshments available.
  • The costumes are from the original BBC TV It’s a Knock Out Show with the famous large giants, huge inflatables, lots of water and much more…
  • Each team member to raise £60 in sponsorship – so £600 per team minimum(e.g. that’s 12 friends/family donating £5 each!! – no increase on previous years)
  • Please raise as much as you can as it all supports the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance.

    5/5/5 CHALLENGE

    Would you like to help your local Grimsby NHS workers?

    If so you can help us to help them by going…….

    Step by step!!

    Step 1   Measure your daily exercise routine until you have walked, run, or cycled 5km (3.1 miles) or 5000 steps, or even 5 times round your garden, or up and down stairs, basically 5 of whatever YOU can manage.

    Step 2   Donate £5 on the Humberston Lions Just Giving 5/5/5 Campaign page (https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/555CHALLENGE ) via card or PayPal, or by cash directly to a member of Humberston Lions  by pressing the donate button on our web page. www.humberstonlions.co.uk

    Step 3   Invite 5 of your friends, family, neighbours, or colleagues via Facebook, Twitter or even face to face and ask them to complete the challenge remembering to nominate 5 of their friends if possible.

    Step 4   To make it more fun you could also upload a picture of yourself doing the challenge and let all your friends know you are doing your bit to help Humberston Lions to help your local NHS workers.

    Step 5  Have fun while you do your exercise knowing that you are helping to make the lives of our hospital staff that little bit better, but please exercise social distancing whilst you are out and about.

    This is the 5/5/5 CHALLENGE

    ALL of the money raised will be spent on making the lives of our fantastic NHS staff that little bit better.
